This pick, the snowman, obviously got its name from its appearance: it is made up of two differently-sized circles one on top of the other. This deformation on both sides means locks can be worked on, the pins (or levers) of which are on the front and back of the lock core. These locks, which are known as fixed lever locks, are for example often used in office furniture. The rake technique is then used.
In principle, the snowman pick can also be used to rake perfectly normal cylinder locks, but the relatively large size of the snowman means this is sometimes somewhat cumbersome.
