The Mountain Six Pick (also called Six Mountains) is a classic rake tool.

In other words, stroking through the cylinder with this pick means the pins or more or less randomly contacted and the cylinder core is therefore released after a short period of time.

The major difference in the Mountain Six (compared to other rake picks) is that the elevations are different heights and tend to rise at the start and end.

This property and the long length of the pick enable the rapid and effective opening of simple cylinders and padlocks.
